For more than 30 years, workshops and seminars have been a core part of the educational benefits offered by Bill Hood. In fact, our events, which started in the 1970s, outlined the proprietary screenprinting development process that then became the subject of our bestselling book, Screenprinting Under Control.
Today our seminars and training events reflect the continuous evolution of the Comprehensive System for Bringing Control to the Screenprinting Process. We offer a variety of event options, each designed to address the real-life demands of building and sustaining a screenprinting business.
We do not simply tell you WHAT to do, but instead explain WHY you should do something and WHAT benefits you will reap. It is far better to have knowledge of why a thing is being done, so that you understand the process and can make intelligent decisions based on knowledge rather than experience. Each month, we offer a workshop at our facility in Austin, Texas. And, we present workshops in Manalapan, New Jersey; Cuernavaca, Mexico and in conjunction with DMI in Mumbai, India. We cover an ever changing list of subjects including Better Screenmaking, Printing White on Black, Manual Printing Techniques, Controlling the Ink Deposit.
We have moved our Austin Texas headquarters into a larger, state-of-the art, professional print shop, with both a manual and automatic press. We have also brought on an additional instructor, Alan Johnston, to help with the training.
